Preceding the concert there will be a brief lecture by Jacob Gassman
on the
history of the oboe in the U.S. and about Bert Gassman
who taught three
generations of world famous oboists as well as performing.
A dessert
reception, sponsored by the Gassman family, will follow the concert.
